Dette er ei krise was a commission by The Opera Days of Reykjavik in 2022. The piece is a part of their project Poems for the Climate that invited school children all of the Nordic countries to write poems about climate and their through regarding the future. 

The poem Dette er ei krise is written by 13 year old Ella Louise Saue Djupedal.
