Kornið

Kornið is a chamber opera in one act and was Djupedal's final piece in her master degree at Icelandic University of the Arts. The libretto is written by Ingunn Lára Kristjánsdóttir. The singers are Heiðdís Hanna Sigurðardóttir, Vera Hjördís Matsdóttir, Dagur Þorgrímsson and Magnús Már Björnsson. The conductor is Guðni Franzson and the musicians are from the Icelandic chamber ensemble Caput.

The opera is about a woman who is applying for money. The three people who are meeting with her turns out to be quite difficult.
